A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE NAME "PALOMINO PARK"
FOR THE NEW CITY PARK LOCATED IN THE CHAPEL HILL
NEIGHBORHOOD.
WHEREAS, the City of Pasco Park and Recreation Advisory Board has considered the
"Policy for Naming of City Park and Recreation Facilities" approved by Resolution No. 2499; and
WHEREAS, considering the best interests of the community, the Park and Recreation
Advisory Board has recommended the name "Palomino Park" for the new park located in the
Chapel Hill neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after full consideration of the Advisory Board's
recommendation, concurs with its recommendation and hereby adopts the name "Palomino Park"
for the new park located in the Chapel Hill neighborhood.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PASCO, WASHINGTON:
That the new park located in the Chapel Hill neighborhood be named "Palomino Park."
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington this 4th day of October,
2021.
