HomeMy WebLinkAboutPACE Engineers, Inc - Columbia East Lift Station & Forcemain - PSA Amendment No. 1 CP9-SR-2A-17-01 11.5.2018AMENDMENT NUMBER 1 to PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT 17003 - COLUMBIA EAST LIFT STATION AND FORCE MAIN PROJECT CONTRACT # CP9-SR-2A-17-01 WHEREAS, the City and PACE Engineers, Inc. entered into a Professional Services Agreement on 5/31/2018 to provide engineering services with respect to the Columbia East Lift Station and Force Main Project. NOW, THEREFORE, this agreement is amended to allow PACE Engineers, Inc.to provide 'additional engineering services as described on Exhibit A & B. Scope of Work: See Exhibit A — Construction Management Support 2. Fee: The compensation for the work is based on a Time and Materials Basis not to exceed the amount of $26,709.80 for a total authorization amount of $586,103.00. Refer to Exhibit B for the breakdown of hours. 3. Time of performance: The services shall be complete for the project on or before 12/31/2019. DATED THIS 15TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 2018. City of Pasco Columbia East Pump Station Construction Engineering Services Supplement Scope of Work: PACE was the design engineering of record for the recent Columbia East Pump Station construction documents. The City of Pasco completed advertisement and award of the project and has requested PACE's assistance during construction phase of the project. The City has requested the following services during construction; • Responding to RFIs, • Review of submittals, • Engineering site observations at specific milestones/components • Observe Pump Station Start up • Assist with Punchlist development Project Tasks: Task 1 — Construction Management Task 1.1 — Construction Management PACE anticipates a 180 working day duration for completion of the construction for the pump station. Construction management will include the following: • Responding to RFIs. To establish a budget for this task we estimate up to 15 RFIs. • Shop drawing and submittal review and documentation. To establish a budget for this task we estimate up to 25 submittals. • Attending up to 3 on-site progress meetings with contractor and City at strategic milestones to be determined by City staff. • Observe pump station start up • Complete final inspection walk thru and prepare list of work requiring completion or correction.
