CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 6:04 pm, by Jeffrey Robinson,
Chairperson
ROLL CALL
Commissioners: Joel Nunn-Sparks, Maria Torres Mendoza, Jeffrey
Robinson, Naima Chambers Smith, Elouise Sparks, Carly Coburn.
Absent: Kyle Saltz
City Staff: Angela Pashon, Dave Zabell, Adam Lincoln
Other: Lynn Carlson (Facilitator)
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioner Coburn moved to approve the amended minutes from the
December 16, 2020 meeting and, the minutes from the January 20,
2021 meeting. Commissioner Chambers-Smith seconded. Motion
passed unanimously.
COMMISSIONER REPORTS
STAFF REPORTS
AskPasco app is now available to improve communication with the City. The
app is an accountability measure to be responsive to the public. AskPasco
was selected for its native Spanish capabilities, users must have their smart
phones set to native Spanish setting.

NEW BUSINESS
City Council Presentation Discussion
Staff Liaison Pashon discussed the desire to have the Commission provide an
update to City Council in the near future. The Commission agreed to review a
draft presentation at the March meeting before presenting to City Council in April.
Commission Discussion on Next Steps
The Commission began planning its next steps with their updated workplan.
Commissioner Coburn inquired about DEI trainings the City participates in and if
they are able to be opened to local business owners. Staff will provide a li st of
trainings and if they are eligible to be opened to the public.
Commission requested a copy of Arts and Culture Commission Work Plan.
Commissioner Robinson requested event proposal form be included on next
meeting agenda.
