II. ACTION REQUESTED OF COUNCIL / STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS:
MOTION: I move to approve Resolution No. ________, rejecting all bids for Bid No.
CP5-PK-8R-16-02: RenovationMarket Farmers’ Pasco and Park Peanuts and

original call for this project.
III. FISCAL IMPACT:
None
IV. HISTORY AND FACTS BRIEF:
A formal request for bid submittal (Bid No. CP5-PK-8R-16-02) for the Peanuts
Park/Pasco Farmers' Market Renovation was issued on April 20, 2020, one bid was
received which was opened on May 20, 2020. The lone bid exceeded the engineer's
estimate by approximately 17%. Due to federal funding programs associated with the
project, staff was required to conduct a cost analysis of the bid tabulation. From this, it
was determined that the best course of action for the City is to reject the bid and re-
advertise for new submittals.
V. DISCUSSION:
Staff is evaluating the result with and eye toward determining the lack of interest in the
project by prospective bidders.

Staff request City Council approve the proposed Resolution rejecting all bids for the
Peanuts Park/Pasco Farmer's Market Renovation project and authorize the City
