a. Recreation
Tons of Trucks went well
Volleyball and Flag Football Leagues have started - Football Down 4 Teams
Foot Care about 80 appointments
Senior Picnic went very well - 950 sold 800 in attendance.
Preschool & youth programs of Dance, Toddler Shorts Sports and Little
Kickers going well
Early Deadline for Youth Basketball is October 31
Smash Bros Tournament Saturday 10/5
Youth VB Clinic Starts Saturday 10/12
Pickleball Set to start in November but considering opening a little earlier.

Showed Photos of Flower Beds, Trees at Rd 36 & Burden Blvd, and the
Wade Park Boat Launch
Personnel Activity
Attended Monthly Safety Meetings
Park & Facility Projects
Rebuilt planters beds at various locations
Removed some trees on Rd 36/Burden
City Hall wire tray
Fertilized zones
Replaced exterior lights at MLK
Repaired Wade Park boat launch
Closed pool for season to the public
Accepted new mow strips

9 Funerals: 7 burials, 2 cremains

Replaced sidewalk to the Angel Garden with ADA sidewalk
Veterans section facelifted
Preparing for Pet Cemetery pouring concrete sidewalks tomorrow

Installed Air Compressor for SCUBA tanks for Fire Department

a. Tree Program Brainstorm – Postponed Until Nov.
b. RCO Update
Signed Agreements from RCO have been received so we now have the green
light to proceed. First steps for “A” street are the cultural resource survey and
the design work.
c. Upcoming Volunteer
Winter Fest is 2:00 to 6:00pm on December 7th
1. Edgar said he should be able to help
Lampson Cable Bridge Run is the morning of December 21st
1. Jason said he will plan on helping at Pre-Packet Pickup

VI. Park Board Member Round Table
a. Jason – Asked: How long does it take to blow out the city sprinklers?
Dan reported that the follow the shutoff schedule of City and County water
so that it takes only about 2-3 weeks
b. Bradyn – Wrapping up the USA basketball drop-in program at Pasco High. Kids are
excited for the prizes they have earned.
