A RESOLUTION of the City of Pasco, Washington, authorizing the sale
of equipment and personal property, surplus to City needs.
WHEREAS, RCW 35A.11.010 authorizes code cities to dispose of personal property for
the common benefit; and
WHEREAS, the Pasco Municipal Code Section 2.46.080 authorizes the City to sell surplus
personal property not needed for public use; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that it has certain equipment and personal property
items which are surplus to City needs;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO,
WASHINGTON, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The items listed on the attached, "Exhibit A," are hereby declared to be surplus
to City needs.
Section 2. That the City Manager and/or his designee is hereby authorized to provide for
the disposal of the items at public auction, for scrap, or by transfer to a government agency, as may
be determined to be in the best interests of the City.
Passed by City Council of the City of Pasco at a regular meeting this VgN day of March
2019.
