Description: Expired tabs on vehicle (grey Chevy pickup) on the south side of the property in the easement.

Violation:
Allowing inoperative or unlicensed motor vehicles to be parked, kept or stored on any premises, and/or allowing
vehicles at any time be in a state of major disassembly, disrepair, or in the process of being stripped or dismantled.
Painting of vehicles is prohibited unless conducted inside an approved spray booth at an approved location.
Corrective Action:
Remove all vehicle(s) in the condition(s) described above from the property or move said vehicle(s) to an enclosed
structure where the vehicle is out of public view and/or discontinue painting vehicles at this location.
Description: Planting strip is complete with exposed soil and does not meet the minimum landscaping
requirements. PMC 12.12.047 (A)
Violation:
Failure to maintain planting strips with lawns, trees, shrubs, living ground cover, or a combination thereof or planting
strips with dead or dying vegetation and/or exposed soil.
Corrective Action:
Remove all dead and dying vegetation. Maintain all planting strips with lawns/shrubs/living ground cover/etc. (as
indicated above). Trees and shrubs will be permitted only in conformance with Sections 12.12.040 and 12.12.045.
Description: Parking and storing vehicles on the planting strip. PMC 12.12.047 (C)
Violation:
Parking or placing of motor vehicles, recreational equipment or vehicles, building materials, dead vegetation or any
other items with the exception of grass, shrubs or trees (as permitted) in the planting strip or drainage Swale.
Corrective Action:
Remove all items such as those listed above from the planting strip/drainage swale and discontinue parking vehicles in
these areas. Maintain area free from debris, unpermitted items and vehicles at all times.
Description: More than one (1) occupational vehicle stored at this location. PMC 25.66.040 (6)
Violation:
Storing materials, supplies, products, byproducts or equipment pertaining to the home occupation outside of an

enclosed
structure.
Corrective Action:
Move all items as described above to a fully -enclosed building or remove those items from the property. Only one (1)
occupational vehicle which does not exceed 14,000 Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) may be stored on the property.
Description. Front yard is bare, lacks live vegetation, does not meet the minimum landscaping requirements.
PMC 25.75.050 (4)
Violation:
At least fifty percent (50%) of the required front yard area has NOT been landscaped with live vegetation.
Corrective Action:
Install live ground cover, such as grass, on at least 50% of the front yard portion of your property. All areas not
landscaped with live vegetation must be landscaped with mulches or decorative rock.
Description: Basketball hoop stored on the street and vehicles in the easement on the south side of the property
obstruct access. PMC 9.60.020 (3)
Violation:
Unlawfully interfering with, obstructing or tending to obstruct or render dangerous for passage any public right-of-way
(i.e. stream, public park, parkway, square, street, highway or sidewalk) in the city.
Corrective Action:
Remove all items/objects/vehicles/etc. which may be obstructing any public right-of-way.
Description: Trash and debris around the property, in the planting strip and along the southern fence in the
easement. PMC 9.60.030 (6)
Violation:
Any parcel within the City which is filthy, littered or trash -covered due to placing, dropping, disposing, throwing away,
or otherwise discarding litter, garbage, refuse, cans, bottles, paper or paper material, metal, organic or inorganic
material on areas of the property other than approved garbage containers.
Corrective Action:
Remove and lawfully dispose of all litter, garbage, junk or vegetative waste on the property, easement and planting
strip.

MEETING OF JANUARY 3, 2019
A. CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Gottschalk called the regular meeting of the Code Enforcement Board to order at 7:00 p.m.

C. ADOPTION OF MINUTES:
Board Member Granbois moved, seconded by Board Member Rawlinson, that the minutes of the December 6,
2018 meeting be approved. The motion carried unanimously.
D. DETERMINATION HEARINGS:
Chairperson Gottschalk explained the procedure and purpose for the meeting, noting that the City of Pasco
was the Petitioner and property owners and their authorized representatives who had appeared to discuss the
alleged violations of the Pasco Municipal Code were the Respondents.

Board Member Granbois made a motion to approving Resolution No. 2018-012, Board Member
Rawlinson seconded. The motion carried unanimously.

The resolution shows all the Code Enforcement Board actions and cases
that the Board has ruled on at their monthly hearing.
(2) Status Report Code Enforcement Inspections, December, 2018
This report lists all inspections performed by individual staff for the
month. To be counted as an "inspection" a written "correction notice"
must have been issued as a result of the initial inspection.
