Foster Wells ATS Replacement
Project Understanding
The Foster Wells pump station is equipped with an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) which has
been damaged and no longer functional. Emergency power for the pump station must now be
manually transferred to the on-site generator in the event of a power outage. The City of Pasco
has requested PACE to provide a scope and fee for professional engineering services to
replace the existing ATS and integrate a new ATS into the existing control system.
PACE has included Follett Engineering, PLLC., on our team to assist with the electrical,
instrumentation, and controls design. PACE will prepare the bid documents including plans,
project manual, and cost estimate for bidding purposes. Depending on the construction cost
estimate, this work may be accomplished from soliciting bids from the City's small works roster.
