REGULAR MEETING 5:15 P.M. January 10, 2018
I. 5:15—CALL TO ORDER:
II. 5:15—ROLL CALL: Present: Dan Stafford, Marilynn Baker, Malin Bergstrom,
Tom Brandon. Absent: Devi Tate (Excused).
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
A. December 13, 2017 - Approved
IV. 5:20—OLD BUSINESS:
A. None
V. PUBLIC HEARINGS:
A. None
VI. WORKSHOP:
A. City of Pasco Communications Director Jon Funfar showed commissionars a
draft of the Moore Mansion video segment; he discussed the Historic Pasco
video clips production timeline; 3-6 weeks to finish Moore Mansion segment;
All revolves around narration script (Once the script is settled the segment
flow quickly). He estimated he could complete 4 segments by January 2019.
B. Commissioner Bergstrom agreed to contact CBC, and Pasco and Chiawana
High Schools to assess their willingness to participate in producing the
remaining segments.
C. Staff offered an update on the CLG Grant for East Pasco sites of African
American Cultural Significance, and the possibility of using both Planning
and Communications staff contribution as the City's "soft" match for the CLG
grant.
D. Follow-Up discussion regarding RR museum property; Real estate contacts
E. Commissioners got a glimpse of the John Morgan interview raw footage.
