II. 5:15—ROLL CALL: Present: Dan Stafford, Marilynn Baker, Malin Bergstrom,
Tom Brandon, Devi Tate; Guests: DPDA Executive Director Luke Hallowell,
Washington State Railroads Historical Society President Tom Gronewald
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
A. May 10, 2017 - Approved

V. PUBLIC HEARINGS:

VI. WORKSHOP:
A. DPDA Executive Director Luke Hallowell discussed DPDA needs and his vision
of Downtown preservation with the Commission.
B. Washington State Railroads Historical Society President Tom Gronewald
addressed the Commission and shared some of his experiences attempting to
house the railroad museum artifiacts .Commissioners reviewed possible sites
for Railroad museum siting and possible approaches to land acquisition; Sites
discussed include the following:
a) Block 2, N P Plat, including 101 W Columbia St and surrounding
properties owned by Aureliano Preciado
b) Binding Site Plan 98-10 Tract 1 at 306 S 2ND AVE owned by Prospect
Creek LLC
c) The property at 216 S 6TH AVE owned by Lawrence B Stone Properties
d) BNSF properties with now-abandoned track
