CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 8 45 P M by Joe W Jackson, Mayor
ROLL CALL
JUNE 11, 1984
By City Clerk Councilmen present were Susan Boothe, Beverly Green,
Charles Grigg, Ira Schmidt, E A Snider, Joe Jackson and Emerson Morgan
Also present were Lee Kraft, City Manager, Greg Rubstello, City Attorney,
Jerry Conner, Director of Finance, Dennis Wright, City Engineer, Richard
Erickson, Director of Parks/Recreation, Donald Francis, Chief of Police,
Larry Dickinson, Acting Fire Chief, John Fifer, Fire Marshal, Webster Jackson,
Purchasing/Personnel Supervisor and Gary Crutchfield, Director of Community
Development
ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION
1984 Water Transmission Distribution Improvements Mr Snider moved to award
the contract for 1984 Water Transmission Distribution Improvements to the low
bidder, Sharpe and Preszler Construction Company, in the amount of $100,746 06,
including sales tax, and to authorize the Mayor to sign the contract documents
Seconded by Mrs Green Motion carried by roll call vote of seven (7)
L I D No 117 Mrs Green moved to award the contract for construction of
L I D No 117 to the low bidder, Transtate Paving, Inc , in the amount of
$506,882 18, including sales tax, and to authorize the Mayor to sign the
contract documents Seconded by Mr Snider Motion carried by roll call
vote of seven (7)
Ordinance No 2504
An Ordinance of the City of Pasco, relating to Fire
Prevention and amending Title 18 of the Pasco Municipal
Code by repealing and re-enacting Chapter 18 04 thereof
Ordinance No 2504 was read by title only Mrs Boothe moved to adopt
Ordinance No 2504, adopting and amending the Uniform Fire Code Seconded by
Mr Snider Motion carried
Demolition of the Cunningham Hotel Mr Snider moved to authorize staff to
call for bids for the demolition of the Cunningham Hotel Seconded by Mr
Schmidt Motion carried
