PASCO CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING AUGUST 13, 1984
CALL TO ORDER
Special meeting called to order at 8 20 P M by Joe W Jackson, Mayor
ROLL CALL
By City Manager Councilmen present were Susan Boothe, Beverly Green,
Charles Grigg, E A Snider, Joe Jackson and Emerson Morgan Councilman
Ira Schmidt was absent from the meeting (excused) Also present were
Lee Kraft, City Manager, Greg Rubstello, City Attorney, Dennis Wright,
City Engineer, Donald Francis, Chief of Police, Larry Dickinson, Fire Chief and
Gary Crutchfield, Director of Community Development
AWARD OF BID
28th Avenue and West "A" Street -LID No 118 - Project No 84-3-05
Mr. Snider moved to award the construction contract for 28th Avenue and
West "A" Street to Transtate Paving, Inc , the low bidder, in the amount
of $285,667 09, in accordance with their proposal and, further, to authorize
the Mayor to sign the contract documents Seconded by Mrs Boothe
Staff reported that bids were opened on August 9, 1984 at 10 00 A M Three (3)
bids were received with Transtate Paving's bid of $285,667 09 being nine (9%)
percent below the Engineer's estimate of $313,886 38
