RESOLUTION NO. (11--S--
A RESOLUTION seeking proposals to develop Phase 6,
The Village At Sun Willows
WHEREAS, the city created The Village at Sun Willows as a means to improve
the choice of housing opportunities within the Pasco community, as well as to reap
some financial benefit for taxpayers' investment in the redeveloped Sun Willows
Municipal Golf Course, and
WHEREAS, Phases 1 through 4 of The Village are substantially completed
and Phase 5 contains no golf course frontage lots, and
WHEREAS , golf course frontage lots represent a significant portion of the
financial benefit associated with development of The Village at Sun Willows, NOW,
THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to solicit
proposals from developers qualified to purchase and develop Phase 6 of The Village at
Sun Willows
Section 2. The Request For Proposals (RFP) to be issued by the City Manager
shall include, but not be limited, to the following criteria for evaluation of the
proposals
• Purchase price offered
• Relevant expenence of proposer
• Financial capability of proposer
• Size, exterior design, and interior quality of dwelling units proposed
• Timing of development
Section 3. That the RFP shall reflect the City Council's intention to negotiate
the sale of the land for Phase 6 by the end of calendar year 1998 and shall further
reserve the nght to reject any and all proposals submitted
