HomeMy WebLinkAbout2363 ResolutionRESOLUTION NO Q3 6 3 A RESOLUTION approving the sale of certain surplus real property at Sun Willows Business Park WHEREAS, the commercial lands comprising Sun Willows Business Park, situated between Sun Willows Golf Course and North 20th Avenue, are surplus to the present and future needs of the City, and WHEREAS, the nature and scale of development of the lands within Sun Willows Business Park is of primary concern to the City Council in assuring the long- term quality of development and associated improvement of the City's tax base, and WHEREAS, sale of parcels within the Sun Willows Business Park can best fulfill the City's objectives if accomplished through negotiated sales to include appropriate terms and conditions regarding the nature, scale, and timing of development, and WHEREAS, a local business known as HAPO Federal Credit Union has agreed to terms and conditions for its purchase and development of approximately 1 5 acres at the northeast corner of the intersection of 20th Avenue and Sun Willows Boulevard for a full-service branch facility of its banking business, such terms and conditions being appropriate to fulfill the City's objectives, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS. Section 1. That the sale of approximately 15 acres of surplus real property at the northeast corner of the intersection of 20th Avenue and Sun Willows Boulevard to the HAPO Federal Credit Union be approved subject to all terms and conditions in the attached Purchase and Sale Agreement Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary to effect the sale of the property in accordance with the Purchase and Sale Agreement PASSED by tile City Council of the City of Pasco at a regular meeting this day of , 199 8 Catherine D Seaman, Deputy City Clerk Lelancl B.
