RESOLUTION NO 2338
A RESOLUTION accepting work by Powder River Demolition &
Construction, under contract for Project No 97-1-03
WHEREAS, the work performed by Powder River Demolition &
Construction, under contract for Project No 97-1-03 has been examined
by Engineering and Engineering has found that all work required by the
contract has been performed in apparent compliance with the
applicable project specifications and drawings, and
WHEREAS, it is Engineering's recommendation that the City of Pasco
formally accept the contractor's work and the project as complete, Now,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO
That the City Council concurs with Engineering's recommendation
and thereby accepts the work performed by Powder River Demolition &
Construction, under contract for Project No 97-1-03 as being completed
in apparent conformance with the project specifications and drawings,
and
Be it further resolved that the City Clerk is hereby directed t o
notify the Washington State Department of Revenue of this acceptance,
and
Be it further resolved that the final payment of retatnage being
withheld pursuant to applicable laws, regulations and administrative
determination shall be released upon satisfaction of same a n d
verification thereof by Engineering and Director of Finance
PASSED by the City Council of City of Pasco this 20th day of
October, 1997

IV HISTORY AND FACTS BRIEF
On August 18, 1997, the City Council awarded the Sewer Replacement
Program #2 contract in the amount of $70,107 10 to Powder River
Demolition & Construction The final cost of the contract was
$70,107 10 The work was inspected by Engineering and is now
complete Staff recommends acceptance of the work
