RESOLUTION NO. 2329
A RESOLUTION fixing the time and date for a public hearing to
consider the vacation of Chestnut Avenue between "B"
Street and the east/west Alley in Block 8, Owen's
Addition and a portion of the north/south Alley in
Block 7, Owen's Addition
WHEREAS, a qualified petition has been submitted to the City
Council of the City of Pasco requesting vacation of certain alley rights-of-
way within the City of Pasco, and
WHEREAS, from time to time in response to petitions or in cases
where it serves the general interest of the City, the City Council may
vacate rights-of-way, and
WHEREAS, R C W 35 79 requires public hearings on said petition
to be fixed by Resolution, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PASCO:
That a public hearing to consider the vacation of Chestnut Avenue
between the south right-of-way line of "B" Street and the westerly
projection of the south lot line of Lot 25, Block 8, Owen's Addition
and the north/south Alley in Block 7, Owen's Addition lying north
of the westerly projection of the south lot line of Lot 8, Block 7,
Owen's Addition, will be held before the City Council of the City of
Pasco in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 525 North 3rd
Avenue, Pasco, Washington, at the hour of 7 30 p m, on the 2nd
day of September, 1997 That the City Clerk of the City of Pasco
give notice of said public hearing as required by law
