A RESOLUTION accepting a ten percent annexation petition and providing a
determination on the territory to be annexed and whether simultaneous zoning and the
assumption of bonded indebtedness will be required
WHEREAS, owners of property, south of Sylvester Street between the west City
limits and Road 54, as descnbed in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, have initiated action to
annex to the City of Pasco, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco has reviewed the annexation
petition and has determined annexation of the territory would further orderly growth of the
City and is in the best interest of the community, NOW, THEREFORE,_
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
A) That the City will accept the proposed territory to be annexed as described m
Exhibit "A" and depicted in Exhibit "B" attached hereto
B) That the territory to be annexed will not require simultaneous adoption of
zoning regulations Zoning will be determined through a public hearing process with
input from affected property owners
C) That the annexation area will not be required to assume any portion of existing
City bonded indebtedness

Beginning at a point on the North R-O-W line of Sylvester Street,
said point being the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Plat of Ayers
Addition located in Northwest Quarter of Section 26, Township 9
North, Range 29 East, Thence Westerly along the North R-O-W line
of Sylvester Street to the intersection with the Northerly
projection of the West line of Road 54, Thence Southerly along said
Road projection to the South R-O-W line of Sylvester Street, Thence
Southerly along the West R-O-W line of Road 54 and continuing
Southerly along the projection thereof to the Benton/Franklin County
Boundary, Thence Easterly along said County Boundary to the
intersection with the Southerly projection of the West line of
Klopfenstein Subdivision, Thence Northerly along the projection of

value, accoiding to the assessed valuation foi gencial taxation of the
piopeity foi which annexation is sought, heieby advise the City
Council of the City of Pasco that it is the desne of the undei signed
owneis of the following alea to commence annexation pioceedings
The property heiein ieferied to is desciibed on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and is depicted on Exhibit "B" fuithei attached hereto
It is iequested that the City Council of the City of Pasco set a date not
later than sixty days after the filing of this iequest for a meeting
with the undersigned to determine
(1) Whethei the City Council will accept the pioposed annexation,
(2) Whethei the City Council will require simultaneous zoning for
the ploposed alea, and
(3) Whethei the City Council will requiie the assumption of
existing City indebtedness by the aiea to be annexed
