HomeMy WebLinkAbout2309 ResolutionAlpo RESOLUTION NO D3oci A RESOLUTION accepting work by Transtate Paving Company, Inc under contract for Project No 94-3-03 WHEREAS, the work performed by Transtate Paving Company, Inc , under contract for Project No 94-3-03 has been examined by the City Engineer and the City Engineer has found that all work required by the contract has been performed in apparent compliance with the applicable project specifications and drawings, and WHEREAS, it is the City Engineer's recommendation that the City of Pasco formally accept the contractor's work and the project as complete, Now, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO That the City Council concurs with the City Engineer's recommendation and thereby accepts the work performed by Tr an s tate Paving Company, Inc, under contract for Project No 94-3-03 as being completed in apparent conformance with the project specifications a n d drawings, and Be it further resolved that the City Clerk is hereby directed t o notify the Washington State Department of Revenue of this acceptance, and Be it further resolved that the final payment of retainage being withheld pursuant to applicable laws, regulations and administrative determination shall be released upon satisfaction of same a n d verification thereof by the City Engineer and Director of Finance PASSED by the City Council of tile City of Pasco this 5th day of May, 1997 ATTEST arles D Kilb ry, Mayor Catherine D Seaman, Deputy City Clerk APP gji AS TO FORM ='‘t) City Attorney MEMORANDUM DATE April 28, 1997 TO Robert J Alberts, Director of Public Works FROM Dennis Wright, City Engineerc SUBJECT Engineer's Report Accepting A Street Overlay Project No 94-3-04 Bids were opened on Wednesday, September 11, 1996 Council awarded the contract on September 19, 1996 Award was made to Transtate Paving Co, Inc in the amount of $209,511 50 The first working day charged to the project was September 30, 1996 a n d work was substantially complete on November 1, 1996 There was a Change Order issued for this project as follows 1) Contractor to place additional grinding at Public Works Shops Lump Sum $5,476 80 The final contract cost was $212,912 18 The project was completed in apparent conformance with the project specifications and I recommend the project be accepted le
