RESOLUTION NO
A RESOLUTION accepting a ten percent annexation petition and
providing a determination on the territory to be annexed and whether
simultaneous zoning and the assumption of bonded indebtedness will b e
required
WHEREA, owners of property, in the vicinity of Road 45 south of
Sylvester as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, have initiated action to
annex to the City of Pasco, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco has reviewed t h e
annexation petition and has determined annexation of the territory would
further orderly growth of the City and is in the best interest of the
community, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS
( A ) That the City will accept the proposed territory to be annexed as
described in Exhibit "A" and depicted in Exhibit "B" attached hereto
( B ) That the territory to be annexed will not require simultaneous
adoption of zoning regulations Zoning will be determined through a public
hearing process with input from affected property owners
( C ) That the annexation areas will not be required to assume any
portion of existing City bonded indebtedness

LEGAL
Beginning at a point on the South R-O-W line of Sylvester Street,
said point being the NE corner of Lot 1, Klopfenstein Subdivision
located in Southwest Quarter of Section 26, Township 9 North, Range
29 East; Thence westerly along the South R-O-W line of Sylvester
Street to the NW corner of said lot 1, Thence Southerly along the
West line of Klopfenstein Subdivision and the projection of the
West line of said Subdivision to the Benton/Franklin County
Boundary Thence Easterly along said County Boundary to the
intersection with the southerly projection of the East line of Lot 11,
Klopfenstein Subdivision, Thence northerly along the projection of
the East line of said Lot 11 to the< intersection with the South line
of River Haven Street, Thence Westerly along the South line of
River Haven Street to the West Line of Road 44, Thence Northerly
along the West line of Road 44 to the intersection with the South
line of River, Haven Street, Thence westerly along the South line of
River Haven Street to the intersection with the West line of Road
45; Thence Northerly along the West line of Road 45 to the point of
beginning
