HomeMy WebLinkAbout2269 ResolutionI a nnnn ‘ RESOLUTION NO ,DasQ9 A RESOLUTION creating an ad hoc Committee to be known as the "Pasco Rivershore Enhancement Committee" an d designating representatives WHEREAS, both the City of Pasco and Franklin County wish to prepare compatible nvershore enhancement plans, and, WHEREAS, development of a nvershore enhancement plan is a community-wide effort that should involve broad cross sectional representation of the community, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS Section 1 There is hereby created an ad hoc committee to b e known as the "Pasco Rivershore Enhancement Committee," whose charge will be to study the Pasco nvershore and develop a vision for the future development of the section of nverfront located between the "Blue" and "Cable" bridges The Committee shall present recommendations to the Pasco City Council Section 2 The Committee shall consist of nine (9) members who shall be appointed by the below listed organizations (1) A representative of the Judith Griggs/Clara Wright Partnership (property owners), (2) A representative of the Little League Association, (3) A representative of the City Council, (4) A representative of the Tn-Cities Rivershore Enhancement Committee (TCVCB), (5) A representative of the Pasco Downtown Development Association, Charles Kilbury, Ma (6) A representative of the Pasco Chamber of Commerce, (7) A representative of the City Planning Commission, (8) A representative of the Port of Pasco, (9) A representative of the Pasco Parks Board Section 3 This Committee shall be dissolved upon acceptance of their final report and recommendations by the Pasco City Council Section 4 The Community Development Department shall provide the necessary staff support for the Committee to conduct its business PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this /Gs day of 1996 Catherine D Seaman, Deputy City Clerk APPROVED AS TO FORM Leland B Kerr, City Attorney
