HomeMy WebLinkAbout2252 ResolutionRESOLUTION NO A RESOLUTION creating an ad hoc Planning Committee to be known a s the "Joint Development Standards Committee" and appointing City of Pasco representatives WHEREAS, under the terms of the Comprehensive Plan, both the City of Pasco and Franklin County are required to prepare Joint development regulations for the Pasco Growth Management Area (GMA), and WHEREAS, municipal planning is a community-wide effort that should involve a cross sectional representation of the community, and WHEREAS, the City of Pasco and Franklin County have approved an inter-local agreement for the preparation of Joint development regulations, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS Section 1 There is hereby created a special ad hoc committee to be known as the Joint Development Standards Committee, whose charge will be to study and develop land use regulations which will guide the future of the Pasco Growth Management Area as required by the Growth Management Act This committee shall present recommended ordinances and regulations to the Pasco City Council and Franklin County Commission Section 2 The Committee shall consist of seven members Two members shall be appointed by the Franklin County Commission The five members appointed to represent the City of Pasco shall be as follows (1) Spencer Jilek (2) Ray Dunn (3) Vic VanDer Schoor (4) Gary McCollum (5) James Hay Efa_7 , 1996 d L /ii V PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this O day of Charles Kilbury, Mayor Section 3 The Committee shall complete its findings and recommendations by no later than June 1, 1997 The Community Development Department shall provide the necessary staff support for the task force to conduct its business ATTEST Catherine D Seaman, Deputy City Clerk APPROVED AS TO FORM Leland B Kerr, Acting City Attorney
