A RESOLUTION accepting work by Acme Materials & Construction, Inc under contract for Project No 95-3-02 WHEREAS, the work performed by Acme Materials & Construction, Inc , under contract for Project No 95-3-02 has been examined by the City Engineer and the City Engineer has found that all work required by the contract has been performed in apparent compliance with the applicable project specifications and drawings, and WHEREAS, it is the City Engineer's recommendation that the City of Pasco formally accept the contractor's work and the project as complete, Now, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO That the City Council concurs with the City Engineer's recommendation and thereby accepts the work performed by Acme Materials & Construction, Inc , under contract for Project No 95-3-02 as being completed in apparent conformance with the project specifications and drawings, and Be it further resolved that the City Clerk is hereby directed t o notify the Washington State Department of Revenue of this acceptance, and Be it further resolved that the final payment of retainage being withheld pursuant to applicable laws, regulations and administrative determination shall be released upon satisfaction of same a n d verification thereof by the City Engineer and Director of Finance PASSED by the City Council of t e City of Pasco this 6th day of May, 1996 Catherine D Seaman, Deputy City Clerk APPR• L S TO FORM Lee Kerr, Interim City Attorney MEMORANDUM Robert J Alberts, Director of Public Works Engineer's Report Accepting The St Andrew's Loop Street Project No 95-3-02 Bids were opened Tuesday, June 20, 1995 Council awarded the contract on June 26, 1995 Award was made to Acme Materials & Construction, Inc in the amount of $151,004 95 The first working day charged to the project was July 10, 1995 and work was substantially complete on September 21, 1995 There were six Change Orders issued for this project, primarily for changes to the landscaping and irrigation, and a change to the waterline construction the changes increased the contract amount by $4,185 92 The final contract cost was $154,815 78 The project was completed in apparent conformance with the project specifications and I recommend the project be accepted DATE May 2, 1996 TO FROM Dennis Wright, City Engineer SUBJECT
