HomeMy WebLinkAbout2217 ResolutioneFelice, Mayor RESOLUTION NO c-2c) 1 7 A RESOLUTION accepting work by Burdine Enterprises, Inc , under contract for Project 94-3-04 WHEREAS, the work performed by Burdine Enterprises, Inc under contract for Project No 94-3-04 has been examined by the City Engineer and the City Engineer has found that all work required by the contract has been performed in apparent compliance with the applicable project specifications and drawings, and WHEREAS, it is the City Engineer's recommendation that the City of Pasco formally accept the contractor's work and the project as complete, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO That the City Council concurs with the City Engineer's recommendation and thereby accepts the work performed by Burdine Enterprises, Inc under contract for Project No 94-3-04 as being completed in apparent conformance with the project specifications and drawings, and Be it further resolved that the City Clerk is hereby directed to notify the Washington State Department of Revenue of this acceptance, and Be it further resolved that the final payment of retamage being withheld pursuant to applicable laws, regulations and administrative determination shall be released upon satisfaction of same and verification thereof by the City Engineer and Director of Finance PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 2nd day of October, 1995 ATTEST --SOLa4a.) Catherine D Seaman Deputy City Clerk APP Ugh S TO FORM Leland B Kerr Interim City Attorney MEMORANDUM DATE September 26, 1995 TO Robert J Alberts, Director of Public Works FROM Dennis Wright, City Engineer cl,ifi) SUBJECT Engineer's Report Accepting L I D 126 Broadmoor Parkway Project No 94-3-04 Bids were opened on July 7, 1994 Award was made on July 11, 1994 to Burdine Enterprises, Inc , in the amount of $1,315,623 43 Notice to Proceed was issued on July 28, 1994 The first working day charged to the project was August 8, 1994 and work was substantially complete on July 14, 1995 There were eleven Change Orders issued that totaled $337,492 29 The final contract cost was $1,670,054 63, however, the contractor has several anticipated claims which may affect the final contract price He has 180 days in which to file those claims from the date of this acceptance The project was completed in apparent conformance with the project specifications and I recommend the project be accepted
