HomeMy WebLinkAbout2211 Resolution1 e eFelice, Mayor RESOLUTION NO. 2211 A RESOLUTION accepting work by Burdme Enterprises, Inc under contract for Project No 94-3-05 WHEREAS, the work performed by Burdme Enterprises, Inc under contract for Project No 94-3-05 has been examined by the City Engineer and the City Engineer has found that all work required by the contract has been performed in apparent compliance with the applicable project specifications and drawings, and WHEREAS, it is the City Engineer's recommendation that the City of Pasco formally accept the contractor's work and the project as complete, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO: That the City Council concurs with the City Engineer's recommendation and thereby accepts the work performed by Burdine Enterprises, Inc under contract for Project No 94-3-05 as being completed in apparent conformance with the project specifications and drawings, and Be it further resolved that the City Clerk is hereby directed to notify the Washington State Department of Revenue of this acceptance, and Be it further resolved that the final payment of retamage being withheld pursuant to applicable laws, regulations and administrative determination, shall be released upon satisfaction of same and verification thereof by the City Engineer and Director of Finance PASSE 5 by the City Council of the City of Pasco at a regular meeting this 18th day of September, 1995 CITY OF PASCO: APITEST: APPROVED AS TO FORM: Leland B. Seaman, Deputy City Clerk MEMORANDUM DA'TE September 13,1995 TO Robert J Alberts, Director of Public Works FROM Dennis Wright, City Engineer dr SUBJECT Engineer's Report Accepting L I D 128 Industrial Way Project No 94-3-05 Bids were opened on November 22, 1994 Award was made to Burdine Enterprises, Inc , in the amount of $908,447 43 Notice to Proceed was issued on December 13, 1994 The first working day charged to the project was December 19, 1994 and work was substantially complete on May 2, 1995 There were nine Change Orders issued that totaled $153,275 87 The final contract cost was $1,089,045 50 The project was completed in apparent conformance with the project specifications and I recommend the project be accepted
