A RESOLUTION relating to land use and determining that existing
development regulations are consistent with and meet the development
regulations required by the 1990 Growth Management Act of the state of
Washington
WHEREAS, the 1990 Growth Management Act of the state of
Washington, RCW 36 70A, as amended, authorizes and requires community
planning under the Act to develop and adopt development regulations that
are consistent with and implement the comprehensive plan, and
WHEREAS, the City planning staff has advised the City Council the
current City Development Regulations set forth in ordinances for zoning,
sub-division control, mobile home placement, flood plain regulation,
environmental protection, critical land designation as well as the City
Shoreline Management Master Program are consistent with and implement
the Comprehensive Plan adopted by Ordinance No 3 i 041 of this same
date, and
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council that there is no current need
for change of the City's existing development regulations to meet the
development regulation requirements of RCW 36 70A 120,
Now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the existing City of Pasco development regulations are
consistent with and satisfactorily implement the comprehensive plan
adopted by the City Council through Ordinance No 3109 of this same
date
2. The following existing City of Pasco development regulations meet
the requirements of RCW 36 70A 120 for consistency and implementation of
the City's Comprehensive Plan
Zoning Ordinance
Sub-Division Ordinance
Mobile Home Ordinance
Flood Plain Ordinance
Environmental (SEPA) Ordinance
Critical Lands Ordinance
Shoreline Management Master Program
