A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of surplus City property
WHEREAS, the City of Pasco has obtained title to certain real properties
due to delinquent Local Improvement District assessments, and
WHEREAS, said real properties are surplus to the needs of the City of
Pasco and it is in the public interest that the properties be sold to raise
revenues for the Local Improvement Guarantee Fund and be placed back on
the tax rolls for the City and the County, and
WHEREAS, the request for proposals were advertised to and received
from the public and after having been reviewed by staff and the City Council,
the City Council believes it in the public interest to sell certain of those
properties advertised to responsive bidders, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
1 That the City Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate
documents for the sale of the following properties to the following
purchases at the purchase prices set forth below
(a) Andy Johnson, 2 1/2 lots located in A M Wehe's Addition, Block 22,
Lots 28, 27, and the south one-half of 26 for $1,000 per lot for a total
purchase price of $2,500
(b) Samuel Arroyos, one lot located in Highland Park, Block 30, Lot 4 for
$6,100
2 That a previous authorization given on August 7, 1995 (Resolution
No 2197) to sell one lot located in Highland Park, Block 30, Lot 7 to
Samuel Arroyos, be rescinded
Passed by the City Council of the City of Pasco, at a regular meeting
this 21st day of August, 1995
