RESOLUTION NO. 2160 A RESOLUTION accepting work by Burdine Enterprises, Inc. under contract for Project No. 94-2-05 WHEREAS, the work performed by Burdine Enterprises, Inc. under contract for Project No. 94-2-05 has been examined by the City Engineer and the City Engineer has found that all work required by the contract has been performed in apparent compliance with the applicable project specifications and drawings, and WHEREAS, it is the City Engineer's recommendation that the City of Pasco formally accept the contractor's work and the project as complete, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO: That the City Council concurs with the City Engineer's recommendation and thereby accepts the work performed by Burdine Enterprises, Inc. under contract for Project No. 94-2-05 as being completed in apparent conformance with the project specifications and drawings, and Be it further resolved that the City Clerk is hereby directed to notify the Washington State Department of Revenue of this acceptance, and Be it further resolved that the final payment of retainage being withheld pursuant to applicable laws, regulations and administrative determination shall be released upon satisfaction of same and verification thereof by the City Engineer and Director of Finance. ATTEST: ie , DATE November 14, 1994 MEMORANDUM TO Bob Alberts, Director of Public Works FROM Dennis H Wright, City Engineer SUBJECT Engineers Report Accepting Broadmoor Waterline Project No 94-2-05 Bids were opened on May 11, 1994 Council awarded the contract on May 16, 1994 Award was made to Burdine Enterprises in the amount of $535,450 24 Notice to Proceed was issued on May 26, 1994 The first working day charged to the project was June 6, 1994 and work was substantially complete on August 26, 1994 There were three Change Orders issued for this project, increasing the contract amount by $6,209 28 The changes were for additional pipe and fittings to cross Road 100, south of Interstate 182 The final contract cost was $541,293 01 The project was completed in apparent conformance with the project specifications and I recommend the project be accepted
