HomeMy WebLinkAbout2147 ResolutioneFelice, Mayor APPROVED AS TO F A Rubstello Attorney RESOLUTION NO awA A RESOLUTION amending the City of Pasco's Comprehensive Street, Storm Drain and Bridge Programs for the years 1995 through 2000 WHEREAS, RCW 35 77 010 provides for annual revision and extension of the Comprehensive Street Program of each city and town, after holding public hearings thereon, and WHEREAS, it is necessary to add the A Street Overlay, between Wehe Avenue and 10th Avenue to the Comprehensive Street, Storm Drain and Bridge Programs, and NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS That the City Council of the City of Pasco hereby amends the Comprehensive Street, Storm Drain and Bridge Programs for the Calendar Years "1995-2000" by adding the A Street Overlay, between Wehe Avenue and 10th Avenues, and That the revised Comprehensive Street, Storm Drain and Bridge Program shall be filed with the Department of Transportation PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 15th day of August, 1994 # ATTEST Catherine D Seaman Deputy City Clerk FOR City Council 10 Gary Crutchfield FROM Dennis Wright, \City Manager Engineer AGENDA REPORT NO 35 DATE August 10, 1994 Workshop Regular August 15, 1994 SUBJECT Amendment to the City of Pasco's Transportation Improvement Program I REFERENCE(S) 1 Resolution II ACTION REQUESTED OF COUNCIL/STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS Motion I move to adopt Resolution No amending the Six Year Transportation Improvement Program to include the overlay of A Street, between 10th Avenue and Wehe Avenue III FISCAL IMPACT $173,000 Federal Funds $52,000 Half-Cent Gas Tax IV HISTORY AND FACTS BRIEF Each year, the City of Pasco updates its road construction plans by adopting a Six Year Transportation Improvement Program That program attempts to identify street construction projects and their source of funding over the ensuing six year period This year, as in past years, the City of Pasco has included within its plan a project called "Various Overlays", which has been a "catch- all" project to include the annual residential overlays and included other overlay projects as funding became available or needs became apparent It was the intention of staff the overlay of A Street be included in this category We have now been advised by the State because of the new policy regarding the acceptance and approvals of Six Year Programs, which now includes approval by the Governor, we must include this project as an individual entry in the program Therefore, staff proposes the Six Year Program be amended to include the overlay of A Street, between 10th Avenue and Wehe Avenue, utilizing $173,000 of federal aid funding and $52,000 of local funds from the half-cent gas tax V DISCUSSION VI OTHER COMMENTS VII ADMINISTRATIVE ROUTING Project File
