RESOLUTION NO. WN,P
A RESOLUTION accepting work by Sharpe and Preszler Construction,
Inc. under contract for Project No. 94-2-03
WHEREAS, the work performed by Sharpe and Preszler
Construction, Inc, under contract for Project No. 94-2-03 has
been examined by the City Engineer and the City Engineer has
found that all work required by the contract has been performed
in apparent compliance with the applicable project
specifications and drawings, and
WHEREAS, it is the City Engineer's recommendation that the
City of Pasco formally accept the contractor's work and the
project as complete, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That the City Council concurs with the City Engineer's
recommendation and thereby accepts the work performed by
Sharpe and Preszler Construction, Inc. under contract for Project
No. 94-2-03 as being completed in apparent conformance with the
project specifications and drawings, and
Be it further resolved that the City Clerk is hereby
directed to notify the Washington State Department of Revenue
of this acceptance, and
Be it further resolved that the final payment of retainage
being withheld pursuant to applicable laws, regulations and
administrative determination shall be released upon satisfaction
of same and verification thereof by the City Engineer and
Director of Finance.

Motion I move to accept the construction of the Commercial
Avenue Waterline under Project Number 94-2-03

IV HISTORY AND FACTS BRIEF
This year a local developer, The Tippett Land and Mortgage Company,
constructed a new roadway connecting Dietrich Road to the south
end of existing Commercial Avenue in northeast Pasco In
anticipation of that construction and proposed development in that
area, the City installed a 16" water transmission main which will,
ultimately, be looped to serve the eastern portion of Pasco That
project included installing approximately 4,500 feet of 16" waterline
and several fire hydrants
This work has now been completed and staff requests the project be
accepted by Council

SUBJECT: Engineers Report Accepting Commercial Avenue
Waterline Project No. 94-2-03
Bids were opened on April 13, 1994.
Council awarded the contract on April 18, 1994.
Award was made to Sharpe and Preszler Construction, Inc., in the
amount of $141,048.33.
Notice to proceed was issued on May 13, 1994.
The first working day charged to the project was May 16, 1994
and work was substantially complete on June 9, 1994.
There were two change orders issued for this project increasing
the contract amount by $ 6,031.41. The addition was for some
extra work required at the intersection of Dietrich Road,
including stubbing a line for future service.
The final contract cost was $ 147,482.37.
The project was completed in apparent conformance with the
project specifications and I recommend the project be accepted.
