Rubstel Attorney •444, RESOLUTION NO .62),i3 A RESOLUTION adopting the revised and extended Comprehensive Street, Storm Drain and Bridge Programs for the City of Pasco. WHEREAS, RCW 35.77.010 provides for annual revision and extension of the Comprehensive Street Program of each city and town, after holding public hearings thereon; and WHEREAS, it is now time to revise and extend the Comprehensive Street, Storm Drain and Bridge Programs; and NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS. That the City Council of the City of Pasco hereby adopts the revision and extension of the Comprehensive Street, Storm Drain and Bridge Programs for the ensuing six years as attached hereto and labeled "Recommended Street Construction Program, Calendar Years "1995-2000" incorporated by this reference as though fully set forth herein; and That the Comprehensive Street, Storm Drain and Bridge Programs shall be filed with the Department of Transportation. The need for each of these signals will be created by development of the adjacent properties. For Court @ Road 26, the development of the northeast quadrant of the intersection should generate sufficient revenue to fund the signal. For Court @ Road 32 at least a part of the funding should be paid by the benefiting properties. For 20th the cost of the signal should revert to the "developer" and in this case that is the City of Pasco. AGENDA REPORT NO 27 FOR City Council TO Gary Crutchfield DATE July 13, 1994 Manager Workshop Regular July 18, 1994 FROM Dennis Wright, City Engineer 0 SUBJECT Six Year Street Construction Program 1995 through 2000 REFERENCE(S) 1 Six Year Program 2 Resolution II ACTION REQUESTED OF COUNCIL/STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS 1 Conduct a Public Hearing Motion I move to adopt Resolution No which establishes the Six Year Transportation Improvement Program for the calendar years 1995 through 2000 III FISCAL IMPACT None IV HISTORY AND FACTS BRIEF The attached Six Year Street Construction Program reflects some additions and changes to the initial draft presented at the workshop meeting of July 11 More specifically, the changes in the program include changing the proposed year of construction for the traffic signal at Road 32 and Court Street from 1996 to 1995 and the addition of a multi-modal facility also in 1995 Another change to the program was the addition of a project for landscaping and beautification on West Lewis Street for 1995 That project would be funded by a local improvement district or a combination of a local improvement district and federal funds if the City can successfully compete for enhancement funds The total estimated cost of that project is $250,000 V DISCUSSION VI OTHER COMMENTS VII ADMINISTRATIVE ROUTING Project File 7a)
