HomeMy WebLinkAbout2128 ResolutionRESOLUTION NO._2128 A RESOLUTION fixing the time and place for a public hearing to consider vacation of certain street rights-of-way within the city WHEREAS, a qualified petition has been submitted to the City Council of the City of Pasco requesting vacation of certain street rights-of-way within the City of Pasco, and WHEREAS, R C W 35 79 requires public hearings on said petition to be fixed by Resolution, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO: That a public hearing to consider the vacation of Idaho Avenue from the north right- of-way line of Superior Street to the south right-of-way line of Trinidad Avenue, will be held before the City Council of the City of Pasco in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 412 West Clark Street, Pasco, Washington, at the hour of 8 00 p m, on the 6th day of June, 1994 That the City Clerk of the City of Pasco give notice of said public hearing as required by law PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 2nd day of May, 1994 Joy -, Delice, Mayor Al IEST AGENDA REPORT NO. 53 FOR: City Council DATE 4/28/93 TO: Gary Crutchfie 4%nager WORKSHOP REGULAR 5/2/93 FROM David 4inaid-, Community Development Director SUBJECT STREET VACATION- IDAHO AVENUE BETWEEN SUPERIOR STREET AND TRINIDAD STREET (MF #94-31-V) I. HISTORY AND FACTS BRIEF: A Tippet Land & Mortgage and Harry and Jean Anderson, property owners representing 100% of the abutting property, have submitted a petition requesting Idaho Avenue be vacated between Superior Street and Trinidad Street The petition requires the City Council to fix a public hearing (by Resolution) to consider the vacation request B The earliest regular City Council meeting available for a public hearing (which provides the statutory 20-day hearing notice), is June 6, 1994 V.
