HomeMy WebLinkAbout2126 ResolutionATTEST , „ < Cathe ine-Se-a APPROVED lerk lo, City Attorney RESOLUTION NO.__ 2126 A RESOLUTION fixing the time and place for a public hearing to consider vacation of certain street rights-of-way within the city WHEREAS, a qualified petition has been submitted to the City Council of the City of Pasco requesting vacation of certain alley and street rights-of-way within the City of Pasco, and WHEREAS, R C W 35 79 requires public hearings on said petition to be fixed by Resolution, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO: That a public hearing to consider the vacation of Duluth Street from the east right- of-way line of Oregon Avenue to the west right-of-way line of California Avenue, will be held before the City Council of the City of Pasco in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 412 West Clark Street, Pasco, Washington, at the hour of 8 00 p m, on the 6th day of June, 1994 That the City Clerk of the City of Pasco give notice of said public hearing as required by law PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 2nd day of May, 1994 i FOR: City Council TO: Gary Crutchfiel AGENDA REPORT NO. 48 DATE 4/28/93 anager WORKSHOP REGULAR 5/2/93 FROM David I al cii&Community Development Director SUBJECT STREET VACATION- (MF #94-30 -V) I. HISTORY AND FACTS BRIEF: A Mountian View Equipment and Pacific Steel, property owners representing 100% of the abutting property, have submitted a petition requesting Duluth Street be vacated between Oregon Avenue and California Avenue the petition requires the City Council to fix a public hearing (by Resolution) to consider the vacation request B The earliest regular City Council meeting available for a public hearing (which provides the statutory 20-day hearing notice), is June 6, 1994 V.
