RESOLUTION NO. 2114
A RESOLUTION accepting work by Insulation Removal Specialists,
Inc. under contract for Project No. 93-5-00
WHEREAS, the work performed by Insulation Removal
Specialists, Inc. under contract for Project No. 93-5-00 has been
examined by the City Engineer and the City Engineer has found
that all work required by the contract has been performed in
apparent compliance with the applicable project specifications
and drawings, and
WHEREAS, it is the City Engineer's recommendation that the
City of Pasco formally accept the contractor's work and the
project as complete, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That the City Council concurs with the City Engineer's
recommendation and thereby accepts the work performed by
Insulation Removal Specialists, Inc. under contract for Project
No. 93-5-00 as being completed in apparent compliance with the
project specifications and drawings, and
Be it further resolved that the City Clerk is hereby
directed to notify the Washington State Department of Revenue
of this acceptance, and
Be it further resolved that the final payment of retainage
being withheld pursuant to applicable laws, regulations and
administrative determination shall be released upon satisfaction
of same and verification thereof by the City Engineer and
Director of Finance.

SUBJECT: Engineers Engineers Report Accepting The McLoughlin
Asbestos Removal Project
Project No. 93-5-00
Bids were opened on March 8, 1993.
Council awarded the contract on Marah 15, 1993.
Award was made to Insulation Removal Specialists, Inc. in the
amount of $222,166.67.
Notice to proceed was issued on April 2, 1993.
The first working day charged to the project was April 5, 1993 and
work was substantially complete within the 60 calendar days
alloted under the contract.
There were 3 change orders issued for this project increasing the
contract amount by $ 15,141.68.
The final contract cost was $ 235,778.77 or 6.1% over the
original contract amount.
The project was completed substantially in conformance with the
project specifications and I recommend the project be accepted.
