MEMORANDUM TO: Dan Underwood, City Clerk
FROM: Dennis Wright, City Enginee%
SUBJECT: MAILING OF NOTICE FOR PROPOSED
18TH AVENUE L.I.D.
At the May 3, 1993 council meeting, the city council passed a
resolution setting a public hearing date of June 7, 1993 for
a public hearing to pass an ordinance creating an L.I.D. for 18th
Avenue. By law, a copy of that resolution must be published in
the Tr-City Herald in two consecutive issues. The first
publication being at least 15 days prior to the date of that
hearing. It would be my recommendation that you publish that
resolution not later than the 22nd and the 23rd of May.
In addition to the publication of that resolution, we also need
to prepare an ordinance for the creation of the L.I.D. It is my
intention to contact George Mack to prepare the ordinance but we
will need to resolve handling of interim financing in order to
give that information to him. It is imperative we discuss this
at your earliest convenience.
