I ct9 A RESOLUTION modifying the area authonzed for the extension of the Columbia East Sanitary Sewer, and rescinding pnor Resolution No 1929 WHEREAS, since the approval of Resolution No 1929 on July 16, 1990, in which the City Council authorized the extension of the Columbia East Sanitary Sewer Area upon the condition that property owners or its developers pay an equivalent share for the extra trunk line costs as did the ongmal LID participants, which amount then, was 02 59¢ per square foot, the authorized area for extension has remained undeveloped and the extension fee has remained unpaid, and, WHEREAS, with the passage of time the appropnate fair share costs per square foot has nsen, and, WHEREAS, the uncertamty as to the location and time of construction of an interchange on highway 395 to service the subject area has raised concerns as to the advisability of the extension of sewer service into the previously authorized area, and, WHEREAS, landowner Thomas Kidwell has represented to the Council that a Burger King fast food restaurant is currently proposed for development on 4 acres that does not appear to conflict with future nght of way that may be necessary for development of an interchange on Highway 395, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: §1. That the service area of the Columbia East Sanitary Sewer may be extended to include and provide service to the area shown on the attached map and more particularly described m Exhibit "A" attached hereto which is incorporated herein by this reference, upon the condition that the property owners or its developers pay an equivalent share for the extra trunk line costs as did the original LID participants which now is 03 184¢ per square foot which amounts to a total of $5,062 37 §2. Resolution No 1929 passed by the City Council on July 16, 1990, is hereby rescinded §3.
