HomeMy WebLinkAbout1958 ResolutionATTEST: RESOLUTION NO. 1958 A RESOLUTION repealing Resolution #1479; and concerning the City of Pasco's purchasing procedure. WHEREAS, the City of Pasco's population is now in excess of 20,000 and is governed by the bid laws which apply to first class cities under RCW 35(A).40.210 rather than the bid laws applying to second class cities under RCW 35.23.252; and WHEREAS, Resolution #1479 previously passed by the City Council needlessly restricts the City to a purchasing procedure requiring unnecessary advertisement and competitive bidding by written sealed bids, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.
