HomeMy WebLinkAbout1954 ResolutionEST: Wells, City Clerk ED ASFO . / 14 1.444 :Mt.! ubstel o, City Atto ney AP Gi-e RESOLUTION NO. 195/4 A RESOLUTION accepting work by Acme Materials and Construction under contract for Project No. 90-3-05 WHEREAS, the work performed by Acme Materials and Construction under contract for Project No. 90-3-05 has been examined by the City Engineer and the City Engineer has found that all work required by the contract has been acceptably performed and completed in conformance with the applicable project specifications and drawings, and WHEREAS, it is the City Engineer's recommendation that the City of Pasco formally accept the contractor's work and the project as complete, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO: That the City Council concurs with the City Engineer's recommendation and thereby accepts the work performed by Acme Materials and Construction under contract for Project No. 90-3-05 as being completed in conformance with the project specifications and drawings, and Be it further resolved that the final payment of retainage being withheld pursuant to applicable laws, regulations and administrative determination shall be released upon satisfaction of same and verification thereof by the City Engineer and Director of Finance. Wright, City Engineer SUBJECT: Engineers Report Accepting Miscellaneous Sidewalk Repair Project No. 90-3-05 Council authorized the call for bids on May 21, 1990. Bids were opened on June 14, 1990. Council awarded the contract on June 18, 1990. Award was made to Acme Materials and Construction in the amount of $12,938.47. The first working day charged to the project was June 9, 1990 and work was substantially complete on July 19, 1990. There was one change order issued for this project to cover necessary repairs to sidewalks and driveways at City Hall, increasing the contract amount by $4,874.33. Public hearings on final assessment rolls to assess the cost of the work to the adjacent property owners were held on October 15, 1990. The final contract cost was $ 17,765.19. The project was completed substantially in conformance with the project specifications and I recommend the project be accepted.
