HomeMy WebLinkAbout1951 ResolutionELLS, City Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 1951 A RESOLUTION to acknowledge the years of service by the Young family to the Pasco community. WHEREAS, the Young family has operated a business in downtown Pasco for 42 years; and WHEREAS, individual members of the Young family have each volunteered their time to actively participate in community leadership activities, including membership in the Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Development Association, task forces, steering committees, and activity committees; and WHEREAS, leadership and support by the Young family led to the creation of the Autumn Festival and, ultimately, to the creation of the award-winning Pasco Farmers Market; and WHEREAS, the Young family's business, "Young's of Pasco", has recently closed business; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. To acknowledge the Young family for the years of commercial services to the community. Section 2.
