RESOLUTION NO 1898
A RESOLUTION authorizing the purchase of certain real property
WHEREAS, the City has been considering over the past year, the
concept of developing an Industrial Wastewater System to attract private
investment in the community, principally in the form of food processing
plants, and
WHEREAS, Burlington Northern Railroad, through its land subsidiary
Glacier Park Company, has recently offered certain real properties for
sale to the City, such properties appearing to be appropriate for the
potential use of an industrial wastewater system, and
WHEREAS, staff has evaluated both the land and the sale offer
and recommends a purchase proposal be made to Glacier Park for acquisition
of the offered properties, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO
That the City Manager hereby is authorized to submit the Real
Estate Purchase and Sale Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto,
for acquisition of certain real properties described therein
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 21st day
of November, 1989
