RESOLUTION NO. 1886
A RESOLUTION of the Pasco City Council supporting Franklin
County's $500,000 Special Tax Levy for law enforcement
purposes.
WHEREAS, the Franklin County Commissioners have requested
the City Council's public support of its $500,000 special tax
levy; and
WHEREAS, the Franklin County Commissioners have designated
the monies to be raised by said levy for law enforcement
purposes; and
WHEREAS, after due consideration the members of the City
Council believe that the levy is appropriate and necessary and
that the City Council support should be publicly stated in
furtherance of the levy's passage.
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Pasco City Council publicly supports the
$500,000 special levy to be placed on the general election ballot
in November, 1989.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this
18th day of September, 1989.
