RESOLUTION NO. 1882
A RESOLUTION fixing the time and place for a public
hearing to consider vacation of certain alley and street
rights-of-way within the city.
WHEREAS, a qualified petition has been submitted to the
City Council of the City of Pasco requesting vacation of a
certain portion of public rights-of-way within the City of Pasco;
and
WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79 requires public hearings on said
petition to be fixed by Resolution; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That a public hearing shall be held to consider the
vacation of the following described alley and street
rights-of-way:
1) The south 125 feet of the north-south alley in Block
21, Petit's Addition; and
2) That portion of the West Shoshone Street right-of-way
from the westerly North 8th Avenue right-of-way line to 10 feet
west of the easterly right-of-way line of North 9th Avenue; and
3) The westerly 10 feet of the North 8th Avenue
right-of-way, beginning from the southerly West Shoshone
right-of-way line extended and then northerly to and including
the westerly 10 feet of said street right-of-way adjoining the
south 25 feet of Lot 3, Block 21, Petit's Addition; and
4) The easterly 10 feet of North 9th Avenue right-of-way
abutting Lots 10, 11, 12, of Block 21 of Pettit's Addition.
Said public hearing will be held before the City Council
of the City of Pasco in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 412
West Clark Street, Pasco, Washington, at the hour of 8:00 p.m.,
on the 5th Day of September 1989. That the City Clerk of the
City of Pasco shall give notice of said public hearing as
required by law.
