HomeMy WebLinkAbout1861 ResolutionRESOLUTION No. 1861 A RESOLUTION fixing the time and place for a public hearing to consider vacation of certain portions of street and alley rights-of-way within the city. WHEREAS, a qualified petition has been submitted to the City Council of the City of Pasco requesting vacation of certain public rights-of-way within the City of Pasco; and WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79 requires public hearings on said petition to be fixed by Resolution; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO: That a public hearing to consider the vacation of those streets and alleys located in Steffin's Amended Addition, W. H. Steffin's Second Addition and Gill and Witson's Addition described as follows: 1) That portion of unvacated East "D" Street lying easterly of the center line of the north/south alley in Block 11, Steffin's Amended Addition, and the westerly right-of-way line of Oregon Avenue. 2) That portion of unvacated East "D" Street lying easterly of the easterly right-of-way line of Oregon Avenue and westerly of the southerly right-of-way line of the Burlington Northern Railroad. 3) That portion of Melrose Avenue lying northerly of the extended south line of Lot 14, Block 16, W. H. Steffin's Second Addition and the south line of East "D" Street. 4) That portion of unvacated South Ash Avenue lying northerly of the south line projected of Lot 8, Block 7, Gill and Witson's Addition and the the southerly right-of-way line of the Burlington Northern Railroad. 5) The unvacated portion of the north/south alley lying northerly of the projected south line of Lot 19, Block 7, Gill and Witson's Addition and the southerly right-of-way line of the Burlington Northern Railroad. 6) The unvacated portion of the east/west alley of Block 7, Gill and Witson's Addition between the east right-of-way line of South Ash Avenue and the southerly right-of-way line of the Burlington Northern Railroad. N Will be held before the City Council of the City of Pasco in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 412 West Clark Street, Pasco, Washington, at the hour of 8:00 p.m., on the 6th day of February, 1989.
