RESOLUTION NO. 1859
A RESOLUTION amending the 1989 Community Development
Block Grant Program budget for the City of Pasco, Washington.
WHEREAS, the City annually receives an entitlement of
funds from H.U.D. and budgets those funds according to program
rules and community needs; and
WHEREAS, the City has previously allocated $60,000 for the
purpose of rehabilitating low-to-moderate income dwelling units;
and
WHEREAS, the State of Washington has agreed to grant the
City of Pasco $50,000 for the purposes of rehabilitating
low-to-moderate income dwelling units; and
WHEREAS, the state grant will create surplus funds for the
rehabilitation program, thereby providing the opportunity to
establish an additional activity under the 1989 Community
Development Block Grant Program year; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That the 1989 community Development Block Grant budget is hereby
revised as indicated in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
