HomeMy WebLinkAbout1808 Resolution1808 RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION concerning bargaining unit employees of Local Union No. 280, IUOE; and establishing a 1988 wage rate. WHEREAS, the City of Pasco and Local No. 280, IUOE entered into a Collective Bargaining Agreement for a term commencing January 1, 1986 and ending December 31, 1988; and WHEREAS, the Collective Bargaining Agreement provides that, effective January 1, 1988, the hourly rates for all classifications in the bargaining unit shall be adjusted by eighty-five percent (85%) of the CPI-W for U.S. Cities West-D published in 6/87", but the index for Class D Cities is no longer published by the Department of Labor; and WHEREAS, the Union has agreed with City staff to establish the 1988 wage rate for bargaining unit members at eighty-five percent (85%) of the CPI-W for U.S. Cities West-C published in 6/87, which is 85% of 2.5%, which equals 2.13%; Now, Therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 1. It is hereby agreed that effective January 1, 1988, the hourly rates for all classifications in the bargaining unit represented by Local No. 280, IU0E, shall be adjusted by eighty-five percent (85%) of the CPI-W for U.S. Cities West-C published in 6/87, to-wit: 85% of 2.5% or 2.13%.
