RESOLUTION NO. 1773
A RESOLUTION concerning the City of Pasco Personnel Board
(PMC 2.42.050, et. seq.,), and adjusting the terms of
its members to coincide with their terms on the Civil
Service Commission.
WHEREAS, the City's Personnel Board has been filled by the
same persons appointed to the City's Civil Service Commission, so
as to be efficient and avoid unnecessary duplication or
conflicts; and
WHEREAS, the term of appointment for the Civil Service
Commission positions is six (6) years and the term of appointment
for the Personnel Board positions is three (3) years; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it will be beneficial
to applicants and in the public interest to coordinate the
Personnel Board terms with the Civil Service Commission terms;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
The three-year term of appointment for the Personnel Board
members is hereby adjusted as follows so as to permit multiple
terms to coincide with the individual six-year term of
appointment for the Civil Service Commission and all future terms
of appointment to the Personnel Board shall maintain this
designed coordination:
