RESOLUTION NO. 1765
A RESOLUTION accepting the work by Hughes-Sellers Construction
Company, Inc. under contract for Project No. CD-86-01,
construction of the Farmers Market.
WHEREAS, the work performed by Hughes-Sillers
Construction Company, Inc. under contract for Project No.
CD-86-01 has been examined by the Community Development Director
and the Community Development Director has found that all work
required by the contract has been acceptably performed and
completed in conformance with the applicable project
specifications and drawings, and
WHEREAS, it is the Community Development Director's
recommendation that the City of Pasco formally accept the
contractor's work and the projects as complete, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That the City Council concurs with the Community
Development Director's recommendation and thereby accepts the
work performed by Hughes-Sillers Construction Company, Inc under
contract for Project No. CD-86-01 as being completed in
conformance with the project specifications and drawings, and
Be it further resolved that the City Clerk is hereby
directed to notify the Washington State Department of Revenue and
Labor and Industries of this acceptance, and
Be it further resolved that the final payment of retainage
being withheld pursuant to applicable laws, regulations and
administrative determinations shall be released upon satisfaction
of same and verification thereof by the Community Development
Director and Director of Finance.
