RUBSTELLO, City Attorney RESOLUTION NO. 1754 A RESOLUTION Rescinding Pasco's Notice of Intention to Withdraw from the Benton-Franklin Public Health District; and Rescinding Resolution No. 1739. WHEREAS, Certain compromises have been reached that have caused the Franklin County Commissioners to rescind their action to withdraw from the Benton-Franklin Public Health District; and WHEREAS, Health District Board action has temporarily frozen the counties' assessment under the public health support formula; and WHEREAS, The Benton-Franklin Public Health District Board has committed itself to review all "non-mandatory services" and identify appropriate reductions and costs by May, 1987, to be in effect January 1, 1988; and WHEREAS, The Pasco City Council upon recommendation of its staff and after due consideration, now believes that the withdrawal of the City of Pasco from the Health District at the end of the calendar year 1986, is no longer in the best interests of the City of Pasco, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Pasco City Council Resolution No. 1739, a resolution giving notice of the City of Pasco's Intent to Withdraw from the Benton-Franklin Public Health District, is hereby rescinded. The City Manager shall forward a copy of this Resolution to the Health District Director notifying him of the passage of this Resolution. PASSED This 6th day of October, 1986 and APPROVED By the
