WHEREAS, The City and representatives of Local No. 280, International Union of Operating Engineers have engaged in good faith collective bargaining for a number of months and through the efforts of PERC mediation have arrived at a tentative Collective Bargaining Agreement that is recommended to City Council by staff, and which incorporates many management objectives sought at the beginning of the negotiations; and WHEREAS, The membership of Local No. 280, IUOE has already voted to ratify the proposed Collective Bargaining Agreement, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: That certain Collective Bargaining Agreement agreed to by the City negotiating team and the representatives of Local No. 280, IUOE on Thursday, September 25, 1986, and approved by the membership of Local No. 280, is hereby approved by the City Council and the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign said Collective Bargaining Agreement on behalf of the City of Pasco.
