RESOLUTION NO. 1751
A RESOLUTION concerning the Housing Rehabilitation Program and
amending Resolution No. 1605.
WHEREAS, adoption of the new Washington State Energy Code
has resulted in increased material and labor costs associated
with repairing single family homes, in Pasco through the City's
Housing Rehabilitation Program, funded by Block Grant monies;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the maximum
loan award available through the Housing Rehabilitation Program
must be increased to keep pace with inflated home repair costs,
thus enabling the city to continue to meet its repair goals
outlined in the city's Housing Assistance Plan; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO,
WASHINGTON:
That Resolution No. 1605 be amended by increasing the
maximum available loan award from $6,600 to $9,500.
