RESOLUTION NO. 1713
A RESOLUTION approving modification of annexation
by adjustment of boundaries by the Franklin County
Review Board and calling for an annexation election.
WHEREAS, the City Council on September 16, 1985
Resolution No. 1690 approving a petition for annexation
and causing a copy of the resolution to be filed
Franklin County Commission and the Franklin County
Review Board; and

WHEREAS, after hearing and deliberation the Franklin
County Boundary Review Board acting pursuant to its authority
under Chapter 36.93 RCW approved the proposal for annexation with
modification of the boundaries described in the petition for
annexation, requiring the western boundary be changed from Road
60 to the west line of Lots 1 and 12, Johnson Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the Pasco City Council believes that the proposed
annexation is in the public interest and that the modification to
the boundary of the proposed annexation area by the Franklin
County Boundary Review Board is acceptable, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The modifications made by the Franklin County Boundary
Review Board to the proposed area for annexation described in
that certain petition approved by the Pasco City Council in
Resolution No. 1690 are hereby accepted and approved by the Pasco
City Council.
2. The Franklin County Commissioners, acting pursuant to
RCW 35A.14.050 should proceed with the setting of a date for
submission of the modified annexation proposal to the voters of
the territory proposed to be annexed.
3. The City Clerk shall caused to be filed with the
Franklin County Commissioners a copy of this resolution.
